Digital Compositing on Inferno, Flame, Nuke and After Effects, online editing in Smoke and Final Cut Pro, Motion Graphics, Visual Effects Supervision, colour correction and colour matching, script breakdowns, job costing and quotations, project management, technical consultation for visual effects pipelines, schematic drawing and technical installation, rotoscoping and tracking.
I also have extensive experience with developing databases for asset management and VFX breakdowns, as well as file-naming protocols, media streaming techniques and video transcoding for online delivery via cloud servers.
More recently I have also been involved with designing, creating and delivering Opening Title and End Credit sequences for feature films.
Locations
I've been working in Film and Television in many different roles, including on-line editing, colour grading, video tape operations, compositing - and post production management and Visual Effects supervision.
I've worked with some of the major post houses around the region including GMD in Sydney, Video Post (Hong Kong), The Post Bangkok (Thailand), Bigfoot Entertainment (Philippines), Digital Pictures Sydney, Eklektik Design in Malaysia, and of course in my own business - pulsefx.
As a Freelancer I've worked for many of the top visual effects houses such as Animal Logic, Fuel, Iloura, Post Modern and others.
In addition to my compositing work I've been heavily involved in shoot supervision for visual effects commercials, for clients in China, Spain, USA, Austalia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong. Part of that work is about management of assets and operational procedures, so I also write Filemaker Pro database programs and use Merlin for budgeting and workflow management.
